segment. Choose from 320 transmission frequencies and enjoy the powerful
advantage of simultaneous operation for up to 20 systems*. With its
user-friendly control menu and comprehensive LCD screen, the system is extremely
easy to operate. And, thanks to a proprietary scan function for transmitter
frequencies, you can be assured of absolute reliability, signal integrity and
audio bandwidth, even in tough RF environments. The microphone has an excellent
cardioid pickup pattern, making it perfect for vocal applications. A
high-performance compander system guarantees extremely high dynamic range, an
optimal signal-to-noise ratio and an ultra-wide audio transmission range.
One of the ultralink UL2000 highlights—a feature never seen in this price
range—is the availability of user-tunable transmit frequencies in addition to
the 3 presets with 8 interference-free channels each. This way, you have a total
of 320 different frequencies available to you, guaranteeing that you will find a
free frequency, no matter how crowded it gets! The receiver also features a
switch-mode power supply with easily interchangeable AC plugs for maximum
flexibility (100 – 240 Volts).
The ULTRALINK ULR2000 true diversity receiver easily fits into your 19' rack and
can be mounted with the included rack-mounting kit.
Take control of your stage with wireless mics!
Stage presence is an important part of any live performance. At the very least,
you want to look like you know what you're doing when you stand in front of an
audience. It can be pretty hard to look cool, though, if you keep tripping over
your mic cable. Unless you're into Punk, where it's kind of expected. Of course,
NOT tripping over your mic cable when everyone expects you to - now that's Punk.
Regardless of your musical style, Behringer helps you clean up your act with the
Ultralink wireless microphone system.
Professional performance at an affordable price
For working musicians, the UL2000M brings wireless freedom to the most modest
tour budgets. With such a low price tag, you may be thinking "two cans and a
string", but this system has all the features and performance of wireless gear
costing hundreds more. It's so affordable, you can outfit the whole stage with
wireless mics and still have money left over to put gas in the tour van. Operate
up to twenty units simultaneously, while keeping your receivers organized with
the included rack mount kit. Each system comes with colored indicators for both
the transmitter and receiver, so you always know how they match up. The
indicators are interchangeable, so there will be no fighting about who has to be
Mr. Pink.
UHF operation
Ultralink systems use the UHF frequency band for interference-free operation at
every stop on the tour. You can select from any of the 320 operating frequencies
to find a clear channel, even in the noisiest RF environment. Don't feel like
hunting through all those channels every time you pull into a new town? No
problem. The UL2000M offers an auto-scan feature that does the work for you.
This is a major time-saver when you run multiple wireless systems. Your
microphones will be set up in seconds, leaving plenty of time to finalize the
set list, double-check the lighting cues, and tighten up your monitor mix.
True Diversity technology
To prevent audio dropouts, the UL2000M uses the same True Diversity technology
as the most expensive wireless systems. Your audience might be completely caught
up in what your are saying or singing, but their focus will be broken if they
see your lips moving and don't hear any sound. True Diversity technology makes
sure your message is delivered. Two front-panel antennas are attached to two
discrete radios inside the receiver. Both radios independently track the
transmitter, and the receiver automatically sends the strongest signal out to
the PA. No dropouts to worry about, just uninterrupted communication.
Informative LCD display
Some manufacturers skimp on display features, with only a few LED indicators to
let you know what's going on. Not Behringer. The UL2000M's large, backlit
LCD-display shows loads of information, including active antenna, RF level,
audio level, channel number, channel color, and frequency, plus menu items like
squelch and mute. A simple three-button interface makes navigation easy.
Balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS outputs allow for quick connection to any PA
system using cables you probably already have on hand. The receiver also
includes an AC adapter with swappable voltage selection for hassle-free use on
your European tour. With simple operation and versatile connection options, you
are free to concentrate on your music, not your gear.
Handheld microphone transmitter
The wireless technology is certainly impressive, but how about the audio
quality? The handheld microphone transmitter captures speech or singing with
accuracy and presence, for vocals that cut through any mix. The dynamic
microphone capsule uses a cardioid pickup pattern for tight focus on the
intended audio source. This unidirectional aiming control rejects unwanted noise
from the back and sides of the capsule for clean, isolated vocal tracks. When
you boost the vocal faders, you won't be adding noise into the mix. The lyrics
rise above the instrumental tracks and the audience hears both words and music.
Powerful onstage control
The transmitter contains power- and mute-buttons for improved onstage control,
with less chance for open-mic feedback when the system is not in use. The
channel selector and status LED makes soundcheck go much smoother. The singer
can report on the status of the lights without the sound tech having to run back
and forth from the board to the stage. The handheld transmitter can be powered
by a single 9-volt battery, or combined with a second battery slot for an
up-time of approximately 12 hours. |
