We bought a 8 of these and they are awesome just set and forget the battery life is better than whats on the box I have scooped over 32 hours on a single colour. Great fixture and exceedingly portable. Light output is Good I only deal with smallish 2.7-3m ceiling heights and these are pretty good considering they are set up in minutes. I have one where the free/red charge light is not illuminating or has moved within the fixture however hardly a problem I charge them up until they are all green (8 hours or the night before) and then run them I keep running them even when Iam done until the battery is completley exhauseted to maximise my charge cylcles. Butilt quite strong considering and the price really is something else. Dont be fooled compared to Chauvet and ADJ these are the clear winner.
I got 10 of this lights & i really like them because of the metal casing & price compare to the competition, they are really bright & Nice design…The only 2 things i got a problem with that 1-when you use the icicle with it the amount of battery hr's you get out the light is not the same from the slave 1's. 2-you have to take care of them or the paint chips very easy off the fixture's.. But i like Blizzard & $
High light output and sturdy built. These lights can take a hit and keep going. We originally had the normal plug in and now with the wireless option the possibilities are endless for lighting up a room. the icicle will lower the amount of battery life, but that was to be expected. All around great light and perfect for beginners to expert lighting designers and DJ's. They are a bit heavier than their predecessors, but still well worth the money.
While no longer available this light is a great workhorse! The battery no doubt has lasted me near 12 hrs! If you find them, buy them!
