The Chauvet DJ LED Shadow™ is a 3-channel DMX blacklight in a sleek and slim case that provides all the function of larger units in a much smaller package. The Chauvet TFX-UVLED features built-in programs that operate in automatic and sound-active modes, providing blackout/static/dimmer and strobe functions. The Chauvet DJ LED Shadow™ will bathe a 20ft by 20ft area in UV light, has a power output for daisy-chaining, and draws very low power due to LED technology.

great black light for the price, the leds are so much brighter then the old school blacklights, even come with some kool programing but i never use because i just go for the black light effect.
These lights are very bright and throw a wide UV wash. They are built tough and are easy to control both with dmx and manual controls. I use 6 of these and can have black light parties in large school gyms.
I got 2 Chauvet Shadows and awesome UV Blacklight. The glow was amazing for my show.
Great lighting for the dj booth.
Pretty good black light, super bright, with some cool led designs...great job chauvet!
Love the light. I have a large space so it doesn't cover as much as I would have liked but the space it does cover looks great!
Nice product. Fits right in with my ADJ Profile Panels for a nice consistent look.

As always, great service from KPODJ
Out of all my Chauvet lights, the LED Shadows are the lowest quality. The "lens" that goes over the LEDs is a cheap plastic film that easily is punctured and rattles around (not screwed directly, instead sandwiched in place by the outer black trim).

The DMX controls are dipswitches which are pretty dated nowadays. I am not aware of other Chauvet lights that still use them.

The output is average for a LED UV light. Not wide coverage, very similar to a par-56 type light.

My one panel failed prematurely with about 20 LEDs going out. Easy to fix but none of my other Chauvet lights have ever failed... I have heard of others failing like this too.

All in all its a decent light that is easy to mount to a light stand and get coverage on the dance floor. For the money though, the FXPar-9 from Chauvet is the SAME COST, better output, lighter weight and easier to program. For the best UV lights out there get the meter long ones from ADJ or Chauvet... their wide coverage is ideal for covering entire bar areas or dancefloors.
