The RCF SUB 15-AX is a high-power active subwoofer designed for live sound applications, featuring a powerful 2200 Watt Class-D amplifier and a 15” woofer in a bass reflex housing. With a digital crossover and presets, it ensures optimal sound performance for small to mid-sized venues. The integrated DSP, color touch panel, and Bluetooth remote control via the LiveRemote App provide easy setup and advanced customization.
Optimize your sound system with internal factory-tuned crossover presets for RCF speakers, enhancing sound quality and bass response. Simply connect your satellite speakers to the SUB AX, select the crossover preset, and you’re ready to go. FiRPHASE linear phase is extended to match the subwoofer phase down to the lowest frequencies.
The RCF LiveRemote App allows for quick crossover preset selection, system EQ and delay adjustments, and crossover individual settings. It is available for Android and iOS phones and tablets.
RCF cabinets are made of high-quality multi-ply hardwood coated with a rugged black or white polyurea finish. The subs are stackable, lightweight, and easy to set up and tear down, featuring ergonomic handles with rubber grips and a M20 threaded pole mount. The powder-coated front grille integrates a special transparent-to-sound foam backing to protect transducers from dust.
RCF woofers are known for their high performance, utilizing specific magnet sizes and molds to optimize magnetic flux while maintaining a low weight. The T-pole design optimization generates minimal flux modulation in the magnetic assembly during typical voice coil movement.
With 2,200 Watts of power, the Class-D amplifier manages extreme sound pressure levels with an ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and low thermal loss. The stereo input circuit features a low distortion design with an advanced safety limiter, maintaining the true character of the input signal at all levels.
The BMC (Bass Motion Control) method allows for extended bass performance without affecting woofer stability, ensuring extended linearity and better sound integrity.
