Does KPODJ offer financing?
Yes! We offer multiple financing options:
- Affirm: Choose 3 months at 0% interest or up to 18 months with simple interest and no added fees.
- PayPal Credit: Get 6 months of 0% interest if paid in full (deferred interest plan).
- In-House Credit Card via Synchrony Bank: Get 6 months of 0% interest if paid in full (deferred interest plan) on all products. Up to 18 months on select brands. Apply here.
- Business Leasing: Lease-to-own programs with up to 48 months of payments. Lease payments are 100% tax-deductible. Apply here (CIT) or here (Quail FS).
- Layaway Program: Pay at your convenience, and we’ll ship your order when fully paid. It’s free to use (a $10 initial charge applies to the final payment).

Does KPODJ do repairs?
We are an authorized repair center for Ape Labs, Prost Lighting, and Smoke Factory. For other brands, contact us to see if we can assist.
Does KPODJ offer rentals?
Yes, we rent DJ, audio, lighting, video wall, and staging equipment. Rentals are typically "dry hire" (pick-up/drop-off at our store), but delivery within NJ, eastern PA, and southern NY is available. Nationwide shipping for rentals is also an option. Learn more at KPODJ Rentals.
Does KPODJ do installations?
Yes! We provide wholesale-priced equipment, integration recommendations, and partner with installers nationwide. If you have your own integrators, we’re happy to collaborate on system design and simply provide the gear.
Does KPODJ offer coupons?
No, but our VIP program offers hassle-free discounts without needing promo codes or waiting for sales. Simply create a free account to access discounted pricing on all items.

Your safety is our priority. All online transactions are processed using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology with 256-bit encryption. We do not store credit card numbers. Billing information is kept secure and only accessed by senior employees as necessary.
Shipping Policies
Order Processing and Shipping Time
Items listed as "In Stock" typically ship the same business day if ordered by 3:30pm EST. Items listed as "Available" are typically drop-ships from our suppliers, so they can take 1-2 days to ship out. Items listed as "Special Order" typically take over a week to ship (call for details). Items listed as "Backordered" are not currently available and it is best to call for an ETA before ordering.
Ground shipping typically takes 1-6 business days, depending on the destination. Expedited shipping is available upon request.
We ship from our NJ warehouse and partner locations across the U.S. for faster delivery. Shipping fees are often included in the product price, but additional charges may apply for non-continental U.S. destinations.
Lost, Stolen, Damaged, or Defective Shipments
- Lost or stolen shipments must be reported within 5 days of your expected delivery date.
- Damaged or defective items must be reported within 5 days of delivery and all original packaging must be retained.
- For standard shipment, the shipper may require an investigation and/or signed police report with affidavit. After completion, a replacement or swap will be provided at no cost.
- For shipments with Premium Delivery Protection included, the insurance provider typically provides a digital pre-paid credit card for the purchase price within 24 hours.
Return & Cancellation Policies
30-Day Return Policy
Returns must meet these criteria:
- All original packaging and accessories included.
- Product returned in the same condition as shipped.
- Authorized RMA number approved and visible on the outer shipping label.
- The following items are not returnable: software, extended warranties, special order items, used items, refurbished items, open box items, and clearance items. Also, Microphones, In-Ear Monitors, Heil Talk Boxes, and any other items that touch your mouth, your nose, or your inner ear cannot be returned once opened due to health laws.
Restocking fees apply for standard returns:
- 5% for unopened items (0% for store credit)
- 15% for open box but new condition items (10% for store credit)
- 25% for lightly used items (20% for store credit)
Aside from restocking fees, customer is responsible for shipping costs in both directions (if free or discount shipping was provided on the original order, actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund).
If items were missing from the return, KPODJ will determine the value of those items and remove that amount from the refund.
Cancellations
- Orders that haven't been charged or processed can be cancelled at any time without cost.
- Processed orders incur a 5% fee for refunds or 0% for store credit, if item can be stopped before it is picked up by the shipper (no guarantees).
- Once picked up by the shipper, the order cannot be cancelled. Instead, a normal return process must be followed.
- Marking a shipment as "Return to Sender" is not a valid way to cancel or return a shipment. It is more expensive and may cause delays in finalizing the refund. Shipping charges in both directions, plus a $25 "Return to Sender" fee will be removed from the refund, plus the appropriate restocking fee.
Payment Policies for Returned or Fraudulent Payments
KPODJ enforces strict policies to address returned, false, or fraudulent payments:
- Returned Payment Fee: A $45.00 fee will be charged for any returned or bad payment, including but not limited to:
- Checks
- Wire transfers
- Money orders
- Bank transfers
- Credit/debit card payments
- PayPal
- This fee also applies to fraudulent or incorrect use of chargebacks or stop-payments.
- Customers are responsible for the $45.00 fee, 100% of the original payment, and any additional collection costs KPODJ incurs as a result of the bad payment or chargeback.
Outstanding Balances for Processed Orders:
- Unpaid balances may be submitted to a third-party collection agency.
- Open balances are subject to an interest fee of 1% per month.
Note:
A bad credit/debit card payment is not the same as a declined payment. No cost is associated with a card decline.
Warranty, Usage, and Liability Policies
Unless otherwise noted, all products sold as New, Open Box, or Store Reseal come with the manufacturer’s factory warranty. Extended warranties and additional coverage options may also be purchased from KPODJ at the time of sale. KPODJ does not offer or imply any other guarantees or warranties beyond those provided by the manufacturer or as explicitly stated.
Liability Disclaimer
- KPODJ is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses caused by the usage, setup, transportation, or mismanagement of products purchased through us. Such claims must be addressed directly with the product manufacturer.
- We are not liable for losses that result from shipment delays.
Shipping Delays
While we aim to ship products within one business day, unforeseen delays may occur. Ground shipping typically takes 1-6 business days. In cases of delays caused by the shipping carrier, KPODJ’s maximum responsibility is limited to the refund of shipping costs as per the shipping carrier's guarantee. Customers must contact us within 5 days of the expected delivery date to report any delays.

KPODJ aims to ensure accuracy across our website, including product descriptions and pricing. However, we cannot be held responsible for typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Descriptions, specifications, and prices are subject to change without notice. While we strive for accuracy, mistakes may occur on rare occasions.

Sales and Use Tax Information
KPODJ may not be required to collect state sales tax for all states. However, purchases are not tax-exempt merely because a seller is not required to collect state tax. If we did not collect sales tax on your order, it is your responsibility as the purchaser to review untaxed purchases and determine if state use tax is owed.
What Is Use Tax?
Use tax applies to purchases where sales tax was not collected at the time of the transaction. Many states require individuals and businesses to file a use tax return for such purchases. This ensures compliance with state tax laws and supports public services.
Your Responsibility
