The DriveRack PA provides state-of-the-art signal processing, while using a simple and intuitive user interface. This goal has been achieved by offering 2 independent channels of processing power with a linkable 28-band graphic equalizer, industry-standard dbx stereo compressor module, feedback eliminator and the 120A subharmonic synthesizer on the input, with a 6-channel output system that includes parametric EQs, and Peak Plus limiters (which are used to provide protection against speaker blowouts) and alignment delay. These features combined with the Wizard setup system represent a methodical design that is guaranteed to deliver optimal all-inclusive processing in a completely scalable system.

If your using a passive system the DBX DriveRack PA Plus is the perfect all in one solution for your system. The DriveRack has a rack full of outboard gear built in. This will improve, protect and help you get the best sound out of your current amp and speakers. You can also use the built in pink noise generator with a RTA mic and auto EQ any room. This unit would also be great for DJs because of the built in Sub-harmonic Synthesizer that can impove you subs bass output. It also works great on stage monitors with AFS Wizard that detects feedback and helps eliminate it. This is one unit that will save you alot of headache.
Worked well, setup is simple. the RTA feature is a bit backwards and should be used in a different manner than described due to the use of the noise generator to "tune to the room". Worked well when setup correctly. Easy to use. I ended upgrading to the DriveRack PA2 for the superior room RTA, and having the ability to monitor and adjust things as necessary using my iPhone, iPad, or macbook wirelessly. I would recommend the DriveRack PA2 over this model.
