We had to place a very last-minute order for this unit, and KPODJ totally came through for us! Not only was their price the lowest price we could find (saved over $100), but the service was very personalized, and they made sure we go the machine when we needed it. Excellent work, guys. Thank you! As for the machine itself, we have used it at two events so far, and are not disappointed. What surprises me most is how quiet the fogger is. In 21 years in business, we have never owned a fogger so quiet. Guests at our events have loved the "Fobbles", as we knew they would. My only suggestion is that the unit must be mounted up high, or an additional fan needs to be placed under it because the bubbles (and fobbles) do not fly super high otherwise. But it's still a great unit, and we ordered it from the right dealer!
The Froggy Fog’s Fobble F4 is a powerhouse! While this machine does 4 things (thus the F”4”) i.e. haze, fog, bubble and fobble (fog inside bubbles) it is the fobbles that catches everyone’s attention. The F4 puts out the highest quantity of fobbles that I’ve seen. Outside or inside, the venue can be filled with the selected output in very short order, typically < 3 minutes. When using the machine outside, you have to be careful of the wind. When the wind changes direction, it can send the fobbles/bubbles/fog where you might want it to go. The easy solution is to reduce the booster fans outputs so the output says closer to the ground, or higher so the output goes over the heads of the guests!! Fobbles look like pearls floating in the sky; and when a fobble pops in mid-air the slight wisp of fog that escapes is fascinating for folks to watch. While awe-inspiring during the day, the F4 output becomes a spectacular visual show at night. With red, orange and yellow lights it looks like the F4 output is a fire of fobbles! Oh yes, you can scent the fog with various scents in case you need a particular scent for the theme of your event. Brides have selected fobbles instead of bubbles on many occasions. It’s not because I up-sell them on it, photos and videos of fobbles sell themselves. As we tend to do we put this device through its paces. We filled both reservoirs with the approved Froggy Fog’s “juices”, turned the device on and let ‘er rip. The manual says it takes approximately 6 minutes to heat up for fog. In my experience in six uses, it takes less than 2 minutes (everything moves faster in California!) The bubble reservoir takes about 1/3 of a gallon of fluid; the fog reservoir takes a bit more. With both reservoirs full and the machine settings to maximum output, fobble output continued for over 1 hour (1 hour and 10 minutes to be exact). That’s when the bubbles stopped. The fogger kept going for about 30 more minutes, then the low fog fluid sensor kicked in and stopped the fogger stopped producing fog. You can turn the sensor off, but why ruin the heating elements and the machine so my suggestion is to always keep the sensor on. By the way, the F4 comes with a remote. I tried it and it works okay but for full control you need to connect it to a DMX controller. I connected it to one of our Obey 70s. I had full control in the 15-channel mode. Light selection, dimmer and strobe control (for nighttime use) as well as fan controls, bubble size and output, fog output all readily accessible with the DMX controller. The F4 is definitely not a kids’ toy but kids and adults of all ages have enjoyed the fobble experience. For any once in a lifetime experience, try adding fobbles to the event.
