Material is very sturdy. This tube converts your existing 1-meter Mini Tube or Coin Tube into 2-meters.
For years I’ve thought there’s got to be a better way to light up an outdoor venue than overhead string lights. I have nothing against string lights they look great; but there should be something we can add in addition to or instead of string lights to light up an area. I tried different lighting systems but then I found Ape Labs Coin Tubes. These tubes are great for outdoor illumination as well as indoor accents. Ape Labs recommends the Ape Coins for use with the tubes, but I used the tubes with the Ape Cans. The tube’s lens fits on both the Can and Coin. I also liked the fact that the Cans raise the tubes nearly a foot. I like height so folks don’t trip over them. In addition to the tubes, I have some Ape Labs Tube Extenders. These extenders, on top of the tubes and cans raise the total height to approximately 7 feet. So when I used the tubes in a completely dark area, they did a great job of lighting up the whole area! The best part about it is that these lights can change colors with the Cans in music mode! What a terrific light show! I had a couple of different set ups; one with all tubes and one with some tube extenders scattered in between the tubes. It presented an awesome look. I’ve received great comments on both set-ups. The best thing is the cans are wireless! So it’s easy setup and teardown. The tubes and extenders are a great alternative to or addition to traditional outdoor lighting. Big thanks to Ape Labs engineers!
Adding the Ape Labs Extension Tubes to my currently Ape Labs Mini lights change my entire DJ setup look. Best investment ever!!

Sam Warfield: Does this attach directly to the Can? Or do you need an adaptor? How do you keep them from blowing over/falling over?
