These are very well built units. The Blizzard Hazer machine is housed in an all-black ATA-spec flight case with detachable front cover with carry handle, and features dual recessed butterfly latches for quick access to the front panel, which is the business end where all the magic happens!
Setting up an Blizzard Lighting AtmosFear Tour HZ for use couldn't be easier. Just fill up its 1.9L fluid tank with Blizz Whizzâ„¢ atmospheric haze fluid (or any other quality water-based haze fluid) and give it some power. Then after a quick 6-minute warm up time, it's ready for big time action.
Using its 6-button LCD control panel, you can easily setup timed haze emissions with both interval and duration settings anywhere from 0-200 seconds, or just press the manual haze button for instant output. You also have total control of the fan speed and volume output settings, optional automatic low fluid shutdown, and users can manually adjust its 6-position, movable haze guide for precise directional output control.
Blizzard Lighting AtmosFear Tour HZ units feature an industry standard PowerCON compatible input connector and 3/5-pin DMX in/out data connections.

Great hazer for the money. Good output. Nice to control volume and fan. Timer works good. In its on flight case is just a bonus.

This is a super compact hazer. Very sweet that it comes in its own road case. I have used it outdoors and as long as the wind is not moving much at all you can haze a pretty good area quickly. I use the recommmended blizzard haze fluid in it. What I really like is even after a night of heavy use there is no oily residue one the floor or even on the adjustable output chute. I hate having fog or haze oil residue on cords and gear. This is a great unit as it does not do that. Very very happy with this unit. If you had to cover a large stage outdoors it would take a couple of these but that being said it take a lot of output to haze up an outdoor stage! If I could change one thing about this unit it would be making it wicicle compatable some I use wicicles everywhere else for my set up.
This is the best hazer you can get in this price range, in my opinion. Output is great, and doesnt leave residue after use.
Excellent controllable output from a small package.
Much better than our old "fogger". When I first started my DJ company, we had a fog machine, but I never liked the thick, soupy fog look.<br /> <br /> Have been looking for a good hazer for a while. This had just come out when we purchased it. We a couple of minor issues... the unit was loose inside the case, and the case was a little sloppy on construction. Like I told KPO DJ, it looked like the Blizzard guys had built the case on a Friday afternoon, or a Monday morning. <br /> <br /> We used it once in April 2016, then stored it until January 2017. The unit would not work at the event. I called KPO, and sent it back to Blizzard on an RMA. Blizzard said it was a bad pump. They fixed it promptly, and repaired the sloppy case build, and shipped it back quickly. <br /> <br /> We used it again in April 2017, and both times, it worked perfectly. The haze makes for beautiful lighting and laser effects. The unit is quiet, with lots of control, thanks to the DMX. I felt the price was fair for what we got, and I would buy again.
