The innovative Automatic LockPin® system enables quick and secure height adjustments up to 7.9ft (2.4m), making it an essential choice for professional setups.
The Gravity Stands TLS431B is specifically designed for the high demands of touring, event production, and rental services. Part of the Gravity Touring Series, this stand is engineered to withstand the wear and tear of frequent use while maintaining reliable stability. Unlike standard series models, its base is slightly smaller but just as stable, making it a versatile option for professionals who need compact yet heavy-duty equipment.
Its heavy steel base includes three M20 female threads, allowing for off-center mounting or use as a divider in Transflex cases. To enhance durability and minimize movement, a reinforcing sleeve has been added at the base-to-pole connection. The stand features a 35mm extension tube with an M10 female thread, making it compatible with a variety of mounting applications.
One of the standout features is the Automatic LockPin® system, which simplifies height adjustments. Instead of requiring a separate locking pin, the built-in LockPin® automatically secures itself into place when extending the stand, ensuring a safe and efficient setup.
For added convenience, the TLS431B includes two integrated base handles, making transportation easier. With a black powder-coated finish, this stand offers a professional appearance suitable for concerts, stage productions, and event setups.
They are all steel - therefore they weigh a ton. It might be a few months before I actually get to use them due to all the shut downs from the virus. I do think that they will indeed work well for the purpose that I have of updating my DJ lighting set up along with my Bose L1 Model ii speakers. The telescoping feature that works on a ratchet system is a nice addition.
Looks much cleaner than standard tripods and is very sturdy base. Though much heavier, it stands strong. The base has solid rubber- ish feet. The feet may need tightened occasionally, but I have yet to lose any. The base is seemingly powder coated steel which stays on even with minor dings, but the sides are a bit sharper and less rounded, which isn't a major problem unless you ding them up, which may cause sharp steel to be exposed. The pole is also heavy and sturdy and can handle my 50 inch tv plus the gravity tv mount. Consider mounting heavy objects or front leaning items in the rear input hole. Even so, I've mounted heavier items in the center without any issue. Can handle bumps without fear of collapsing as tripods might, but of course, safety first! Beware the plastic cap on the bottom of the pole which can come loose and get stuck in the bottom half of the telescoping base presenting issues. Overall, excellent. I bought an extra pole and I plan to buy a second full set eventually.
The first thing I noticed was how heavy the stand was. It’s made extremely well and sturdy. Have no fears about the weight it can hold. Like most others, I wanted to get away from the tripod, a lot of times I don’t have the room to set up a tripod.. The stand looks great and saves a ton of room. At first I didn’t know if the stand was going to worth the price, but after having it and using it, it was well worth it.
