Great portable system. I use this for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours. The bluetooth capability allows me to blend in with guests during ceremony and control the action remotely for cocktail hours. <br /> <br /> It has a slick look, sounds great and is very easy to transport and setup/breakdown. It is a great PA system for intimate events/venues.<br /> <br /> Also great at Backyard/Pool/BBQ parties. Ordering a second unit soon.
Purchased second system recently. Sounds great paired up for smaller events. I can also set one up for ceremony, one for cocktail hour and keep my main setup in the reception area. Very clean look throughout the venue. Simple setup and breakdown make it easy having to bring multiple setups for these events.
A dj friend of mine bought these and did a video demo on them. Also went to a local store to check them out. So I ordered 2 and so far used just 1 for a outside wedding ceremony. The sound quality is awesome. Couldn't believe how this put out and I am a electro voice speaker owner. Would recommend if you need for smaller events. These are light weight and easy for storing.
From a functional standpoint, the LD Maui5 is exactly what I wanted. Simple controls and easy transport. The sound of the 4 driver speakers is really nice, and overall power is decent. It has what I would call subtle volume...it can get loud and project, without feeling like your face is going to melt. Only question is the sub sound seems a bit muddy...not horrible though.
