The
RCF SUB 18-AS brings tour-grade performance to portable setups, delivering room-shaking low end in a compact, road-ready enclosure. Its 18" woofer with a 4.0" voice coil is precision-engineered for low distortion and high efficiency, producing consistent output across a wide frequency range from 35 Hz to 400 Hz.
At the heart of the SUB 18-AS is a 2200W peak Class-D amplifier designed to handle extreme SPL levels while maintaining signal integrity. The convection-cooled aluminum heat sink eliminates the need for fans, ensuring silent, reliable operation even under demanding conditions.
Advanced DSP includes RCF’s proprietary Bass Motion Control (BMC), which manages woofer excursion for more accurate low-end reproduction without the phase shifts typically caused by high-pass filters. The result is tighter, more musical bass with extended linearity, ideal for DJs, live bands, and rental applications.
The all-wood Baltic birch cabinet is coated in a scratch-resistant black polyurea finish and includes ergonomic side handles for easy transport. Stackable and equipped with M20 threaded pole mounts on top and side, it adapts seamlessly to various system configurations.
