The RCF SUB 9004-AS is purpose-built for concert-level sub-bass performance in live touring and rental environments. At its core is a custom 18" hyper-vented neodymium woofer featuring a 4" inside/outside voice coil and a composite cone made of carbon fiber, fiberglass, and cellulose—engineered for maximum rigidity and minimal distortion.
The onboard 2800W Class-D amplifier delivers deep and punchy bass from 30 Hz to 400 Hz, while a 32-bit DSP provides precise control over crossover points, limiter behavior, EQ, and delay. All settings can be accessed remotely via RDNet for real-time system tuning, monitoring, and integration with larger RCF arrays and full-range systems.
The rugged Baltic birch plywood cabinet is finished with weather-resistant treatment and includes M20 pole mounts on the top and side for flexible deployment.
