Moog Messenger is a monophonic analog synthesizer designed to inspire creative experimentation through rich analog tone and dynamic modulation. Drawing from the legacy of the Minimoog and Voyager lines, Messenger reimagines Moog synthesis with a modern control scheme, wavefolding VCOs, and expanded filter capabilities.
At the heart of Messenger is the
classic Moog transistor ladder filter, now enhanced with a
pole-mixing architecture and a dedicated
RES BASS switch, allowing you to preserve thick low-end while pushing resonance to its limits. Two analog VCOs and a unique sub-oscillator provide a foundation of rich, shapeable tone, with FM and sync modes for more aggressive timbres.
With
32 semi-weighted keys featuring aftertouch and velocity, a
64-step sequencer capable of generative composition, and an arpeggiator full of programmable rhythm, Messenger is equally suited for the stage and the studio. The synth’s two
