$399.00
The Alesis Kitstream is a compact, kick drum-mounted recording and streaming system designed to capture the sound of an acoustic drum kit using a built-in stereo microphone. Featuring onboard recording, USB-C audio connectivity, Bluetooth audio input, integrated effects, and 500 onboard drum and percussion sounds, it simplifies the process of recording performances, creating drum covers, livestreaming, and practicing without the need for multiple microphones, stands, or external mixers.
The Alesis Kitstream provides acoustic drummers with a straightforward way to capture, record, and stream their performances without building a complicated microphone setup. Designed to mount directly to a kick drum, its integrated stereo microphone captures the overall sound of the acoustic kit, reducing the need for individual drum microphones, microphone stands, mixers, and extensive cable routing. This streamlined approach makes it particularly useful for musicians creating drum covers, social media videos, instructional content, and home recordings.
With up to 50 hours of onboard recording, Kitstream allows drummers to capture performances directly on the device without connecting a computer. USB-C audio connectivity provides an additional option for recording into a digital audio workstation or sending audio to compatible streaming software. Bluetooth audio input makes it easy to play along with music and backing tracks from compatible mobile devices. Integrated reverb, compression, EQ, and effects offer convenient audio processing to help shape the sound of performances and recordings.
Beyond acoustic drum recording, Kitstream offers creative possibilities for hybrid drumming. Its library of 500 onboard drum and percussion sounds allows players to incorporate electronic sounds into their performances. The system supports expansion through up to six single-zone or three dual-zone drum and cymbal triggers, while the ability to import up to 99 custom samples provides additional sound customization. These capabilities make it suitable for drummers looking to expand their acoustic kits with electronic percussion and personalized sounds.
Kitstream also includes Ableton Live Lite software for recording and music production, along with a 90-day Drumeo subscription for drum lessons and educational content. Its compact housing measures just 6.67 x 4.06 x 4.43 inches, making it practical for home studios and portable setups. An included protective carrying case, 6-foot USB-C cable, cable wrap, and drum key provide useful accessories for transportation and setup.
Designed for acoustic drummers, content creators, drum teachers, students, and home recording enthusiasts, Kitstream brings recording, streaming connectivity, onboard sounds, and audio processing into a single kick-mounted system. Whether recording drum covers, practicing with backing tracks, producing instructional videos, livestreaming performances, or building a hybrid drum kit, it provides a convenient way to capture and expand acoustic drum performances.
