The AlphaTheta HDJ F9 professional on-ear DJ headphones combine ultra-low-latency SonicLink wireless monitoring with powerful 40 mm drivers, effective sound isolation, Bluetooth connectivity, and a durable lightweight design. Built for DJs who want accurate cueing without being tied to a headphone cable, the HDJ F9 supports wireless, Bluetooth, and conventional wired monitoring for use in the booth, on stage, or while preparing music.
The AlphaTheta HDJ F9 gives DJs the freedom of wireless monitoring without the latency normally associated with conventional Bluetooth headphones. AlphaTheta's SonicLink technology delivers audio with latency as low as 9 ms, making it suitable for precise beatmatching, cueing, and scratching. With compatible DJ equipment, SonicLink touch pairing simplifies setup by allowing the headphones to connect by touching them to the supported unit. The separately available HP TX01 SonicLink transmitter expands wireless compatibility to a wider range of DJ equipment.
Newly developed 40 mm dome-type drivers reproduce frequencies from 5 Hz to 30 kHz, providing extended low-frequency response and clear detail across the audible range. A bass-reflex chamber in each housing helps reproduce the attack of basslines and kick drums, while the PEEK-PU-PEEK composite film diaphragm suppresses unwanted vibration for balanced midrange and high-frequency reproduction with minimal distortion. The optimized housing structure also provides strong passive sound isolation, helping DJs monitor clearly in loud environments without relying on excessive volume.
The lightweight on-ear design is made for flexible professional monitoring. Swivel-mounted hangers support one-ear listening, while the flexible silicone headband remains comfortable when worn normally or rested around the shoulders. A die-cast aluminum adjustable slider adds durability in a high-wear area, and the headphones have passed international durability testing for dependable use in professional DJ environments.
Bluetooth 5.3 adds flexibility away from the decks, including multipoint connectivity for two devices, Google Fast Pair, Windows Swift Pair, SBC and AAC codec support, and a built-in microphone for calls and voice assistants. The dedicated HEADPHONES CONNECT app provides additional customization, including Status LED color and brightness, auto-power-off settings, headphone naming, voice assistant settings, firmware updates, and Find My Headphones functionality. For situations where wireless operation isn't needed, the included coiled cable provides conventional wired monitoring.
