I've worked in theatrical and concert lighting for years. Creating my own Wedding Event Company, I sought some inexpensive but durable DMX cable. This stuff is great! It's some of the thickest jacketing I've seen on dmx. The coating is rubber and very durable. I used high quality terminal ends and I have yet to have one cable fail. I'm planning on ordering another spool soon. Don't look any further, this is the best deal.
To me this is a great deal if you don't mind a little soldering work. Think about it, how much do we spend for cables???? 500ft? Deal! Plus to me the benefit is custom lengths. If you run lights on a TBar, a 3' section of cable repeated between 4 fixtures gets messy, Its all about cable management.
