Great product, just got in several of these EZ Pin Packs and I am impressed with the brightness, the clean design of the instrument and the intelligent mounting options. This will shake up the pinspot world.
I just bought four packs for a wedding and I'm quite happy with them. These lights are bright and have a nice beam profile. The spot is narrow but nicely fuzzed at the edges. I love the battery operation and the ease of mounting and pointing. I ran a test on one light to verify battery life. I measured 16,500 lux at one meter. The light ran 6.25 hours at the brightest setting. The intensity did not drop off with time, it held constant until the light just shut off. At one of the lower settings, it would run much longer.

For this outside dinner, I zip-tied the pinspots to tree branches. I am looking forward to trying the magnetic attachment. The soft case comes with a charger that charges all six at the same time. Of the 24 lights, I found one would not seem to take a full charge. I will try to get that one replaced.

I love the lights but I have some suggestions for improvements.

1) The set of gels are nice but not useful for floral pinspotting. The one amber gel is much too dark. Without a gel, the color is much too cool white. I did not have a chance to cut my own amber gels, but I will for the next event. The white color is just too jarring.

2) The remote is maddening. It seems like a generic remote used throughout the Chauvet line. It works fine, but the design is just wrong. Instead of an on button and a off button, there is a blackout button that toggles the lights. That's fine if there is only one light in the remote's field of view, but if you have a cluster of lights pointing in slightly different angles, they may not all respond to the blackout. Some toggled off. If I tried to toggle the others out, the ones that were already out came back on. Same problem trying to set intensity using the +/- buttons. It would be great if each intensity had its own button so I could hit the 3 button over and over to get all of the lights on intensity 3. Instead, you hit "-" and some respond and some don't, and then your lights are not dimmed at the same level.

3) The magnet is semi-permanently screwed to the base. That's good. The metal clips that attach to drop ceiling metal strips screws on using an eyebolt screw for safety cabling. If you remove those metal clips to expose the magnets, you also remove the eyebolt screw. Now you've lost the only place to attach a safety cable. This seems like a very basic design flaw. I'll drill holes in the bracket for a safety cable. There is no way I'll hang a battery-operated light over a guest without a safety cable.
easy to mount, lasts about 6hrs on full bright, and around 8 on half bright. strong magnets prevent lights from falling, love these guys
Mounting options are great. Fairly bright. Only knock is beam is pretty tight. Would be better if you could widen beam a little.
We parked for our mobile DJ Company is to spotlight cake tables, centerpieces, and other many things. With the magnet or the scissor clamps you can pretty much put the lights anywhere! Not to mention they are wireless, so no wire management necessary, I just point and go!
Excellent product to highlight/accent certain areas. They've been used to spot the cake and gift area of 2 weddings thus far. Plus, the positive feedback received from the clients & guests were plenty. A MUST have product.
Plus, you can not go wrong with the sale price.
Bought these for spotting in our church. Have had a really great experience with them so far. Super bright, and really tight beam. With the mounting options you can put them literally anywhere
