Chauvet Hemisphere 5.1 (Chauvet Hempisphere 5 Upgrade)
The Chauvet Hemisphere 5.1 is a room-covering centerpiece that projects RGBWA LED beams through dozens of clear lenses — just like a rotating, multi-colored mirror ball. Individually controllable LEDs match the mood of any event and allow you to create custom light shows. Multiple control options include 5-channel DMX mode and built-in automated and sound-active programs. Power link up to 10 units to save time running cables, and no duty cycle means the fixture can run all night.

By FAR The best alternative to a mirror ball. I had the AMDJ Starball (Non DMX white) and it worked. However, after buying 6 of them EVERY single one either had a ac/dc power issue and or the motor would burn out. The reason why I tried the Hemisphere 5 is because it had not only white, but also RGBAW led's. The quality is noticed immediately and the construction is solid. The auto programs are to be expected, however, it would be more convenient if the light itself had a external controller like the 4bar where you can select the rotation and color. This is a light that must be tamed with a DMX controller to use properly, otherwise the auto programs will just rotate the fixture back and forth with out a full rotation. Suggestions for future models would be more dmx channels to control the individual LED colors and brightness, but otherwise this a great lighting effect if you looking to ditch the mirror ball and want a little more than the cheap starballs from amdj.
Love it. Now have control of a mirror ball and able to add color without color wheels.
