The Chauvet DJ Hurricane 1800 Flex is a powerful, water-based fog machine designed for mobile DJs, clubs, and production professionals who need fast, consistent fog coverage. With an adjustable 180° output angle, DMX control, and a fast warm-up time, this fogger is perfect for enhancing lighting effects and atmosphere.
The Hurricane 1800 Flex by Chauvet DJ is engineered for serious fog output in both small and large venues. Designed with professional-level features, this fog machine allows precise control of fog direction thanks to its manually adjustable 180° angle output. Whether used on the floor or rigged, it can be positioned to maximize coverage and dramatic effect.
With built-in Always Ready technology, the unit produces fog instantly when triggered, ensuring no delays during shows or transitions. A digital display allows for quick and easy DMX address configuration, while the LED-lit tank helps monitor fluid levels during operation. The advanced fluid sensor includes an automatic shut-off feature to prevent overheating or pump damage if fluid runs low.
The Hurricane 1800 Flex is compatible with standard Chauvet water-based fog fluids, including Fog Juice (FJU) and Platinum Fog Fluid (HDF), making it easy to integrate into existing setups. It includes the FC-T wired timer remote and supports additional remote options for even more control flexibility.
I have had an American DJ VF 1600 already but needed something with a larger fluid tank that could be mounted on a truss and would not run out of fluid during events. I have only had the two units I bought a few days but so far am very happy with them and love that the units have the ability to adjust 180 degrees it makes it very easy to get the fog where you want it.
These are cheap enough they are almost disposable.... When they work, they are great, but plan on sending it back for warranty repairs on a regular basis... We bought one in May of 2017, and have sent it back twice, so far.... But at that price, we think it is acceptable.... Recommend getting the extended warranty.

This was one of my first fog machines and I still use it to this day! Creates a nice strong blast of fog and you can easily adjust where it shoots! Great effect for DJ events
