The Chauvet Intimidator Spot LED 250 is a 40 Watt LED moving head light features a triple facet prism and easy access gobo for fast gobo changes. <br /> <br /> Gobo lights are great and allow you to customize your show for special events. The Intimidator 250 prism allows for very wide coverage and great color split effects. This moving head light adds a great variety of effects to any show.
I have 3 of the 250s and 4 of the 350s.... I use the 250s or smaller events or have them set up along with the 350's. the 250s are amazingly bright.. Unlike the 350s you cant change the gobos in the 250s... These moving heads are really small but put on a show like no other. so dont think that because these lights are a lot smaller than the full size ones that you are getting cheap moving heads. I like that they are smaller anyway. Would recommend to use a global truss or a triangle truss because when your light are moving the truss will move back and forth if you try them on a regular tuss
Just got a pair of these as my first moving heads and am completely impressed. They are bright as can be, blindingly so when you get face scanned by them at full intensity. Movement is smoother and snappier then I had expected in this price range, the included gobos are very usable (and Im pretty sure they are changeable). Im very happy with these, for indoor use they are superb. Maybe want bigger for outdoor but thats just the nature of that beast.<br /> <br /> I dont have lots of experience but I doubt you can find better in the price range.
