The EVENT-118A subwoofer from DAS Audio offers deep, defined low-end reinforcement thanks to its front-loaded 18” transducer and advanced Class D amplification. Featuring the proprietary 18FWN driver with neodymium magnets and a 3” voice coil, this system handles up to 2000W of peak power while delivering high SPLs of up to 134 dB. The driver’s FEA-optimized design and cooling enhancements—like a vented pole piece and apertures in the back plate—reduce power compression, ensuring consistent performance even during long events.
Equipped with dual XLR inputs and loop-throughs, the EVENT-118A easily integrates into multi-speaker systems, including its natural pairing with the EVENT-28A. The built-in DAScontrol™ DSP interface provides quick access to system presets, including cardioid modes when using multiple subs for directional bass control—ideal for stages and venues requiring reduced rear spill.
