Professional Digital Mixer and Controller
The Denon DJ MC6000MK2 Professional Digital Mixer and Controller is designed for mobile DJs and live performance applications. The controller is housed in a stainless steel chassis and features a built-in 24-bit audio interface, a 4 channel/8 source real-time matrix, and is designed for use with Serato. The controller comes with a copy of Serato Intro, which can be upgraded to the full version of the program, Serato DJ. It is fully MIDI compliant and compatible with other DJ programs such as Virtual DJ, MixVibes Cross, and Native Instruments Traktor by using MIDI mappings.
For performance, the controller features two built-in decks, 4+4 hot cue/sampler buttons with bank selector key, auto/manual looping, pitch bend controls, and the option of connecting turntables, CDJs, or auxiliary inputs for 4-deck operation as a mixer. Additional routing is possible through the USB audio input. The top panel of the unit features transport, EQ, pitch, loop, hot-cue/sample, navigation, and FX controls. You can also use the controller as a video mixer, by utilizing the optional Serato Video plug-in to program, mix, scratch, and add transition FX to videos.
The mixer's controls are designed for Serato's interface, enabling functions such as roll, sensor, and slip as well as view preferences such as panel, view, area, and list. Four independent deck layer keys enable fast selection of tracks. To record, the unit features a line 3/4 thru to PC mode for connecting to a Mac or PC.
The unit includes a beat parameter knob for controlling beat attributes, FX tap buttons for setting the BPM, FX mode change control, and 8 assign keys for effect control. For vocals, the unit offers dual balanced microphone inputs with independent EQ and echo FX controls. The controller features balanced 1/4" booth, balanced XLR main, and unbalanced RCA main outputs. Optional accessories such as a 19" rackmount kit and nylon flight case are available (sold separately).

So far so good. It seems Denon focused on making the important features good. I still have to do some more testing and mapping it better for my Traktor 2. Excellent price on KPODJ.
table works smooth and is built solid, works amazing with serato and also quite well with virtual dj, the combination of 4 decks and 4 line inputs makes it easy to use as a main mixer when me or other djs want to use additional audio sources(turntables, cdjs, synthesizers, samplers).
I'm using this with VDJ8 and I love it. Great functionality and small enough to rack-mount. Perfect for any mobile DJ setup!
You know denon the quality it's always on denon product and this controller its not the eseption very compact super powerfull if you buy you will not disappointed no competition for this has a lot more functions than any other
I purchased the MC6000mk2 to replace my Gemini G4V. It checked almost all the boxes for what I was looking for in my next controller. There are a few shortcomings with it, but nothing too serious. First, I miss my MPC pads. I wish it had them, but they were an acceptable trade off for some of the other features this controller offers. Second, the microphone ducking is a bit useless, well at least to me. It will drop the master level so you can talk over the music, but only when you,re are talking ( or I should say, when it picks up you're talking). It is very abrupt when it kicks in and out, which makes for a not so nice listener experience in my book. It would have been more useful if it just drop the level maybe 35-40% while active. Luckily, I use VDJ and it didn't take much script to reduce the master level 40% and assign it to those buttons, now it works the way I think it should have from the beginning. Lastly, this is not so much a shortcoming as it is a warning. The dual microphone inputs are a great feature to have, but be warned they are a bit hot. So, be cautious when setting up your microphones, especially wireless systems that have their own gain adjustments. It took a bit to do the fine tuning between the controller and the wireless transmitter, but after it was all said and done they sound great. I think this controller is one of the best controllers out there for the money, especially for the mobile DJ that wants something compact and packed full of features. The sound quality is leaps above my old Gemini (which isn't saying much) and much more portable.

For the price, and its incredible small size, this thing is epic. HOWEVER. I did go through 3 of them because the faders are just not built for heavy use. and im a heavy handed, heavy user. Mic preamps are so nice and loud, and the metal body was really nice
