The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 30M White combines powerful sound reinforcement, flexible digital mixing, and a compact column design for mobile entertainment and live performances. Its 10-inch subwoofer delivers low-frequency reproduction, while six 2.8-inch neodymium drivers provide clear midrange and high-frequency output. A 1000W Class-D amplifier supplies 500W to the subwoofer and 500W to the column array, producing up to 123dB maximum SPL. With a frequency response of 51Hz to 20kHz (-3dB) and a frequency range of 45Hz to 20kHz (-10dB), the system supports vocals, acoustic instruments, recorded music, presentations, and mobile DJ applications.
The column array uses custom-designed waveguides to provide 120° horizontal coverage and 40° asymmetrical vertical dispersion, helping distribute sound across seated and standing audiences. Its durable composite enclosure incorporates four rear tuning ports for acoustic optimization and an ergonomic aluminum handle for handling and transportation. The 10-inch subwoofer is housed in a rigid 15mm plywood enclosure with a high-efficiency laminar-flow vent for enhanced low-frequency performance. An integrated 8-channel digital mixer provides flexible connectivity for microphones, instruments, and playback devices. Stereo channels 5/6 accept signals through two XLR/TRS combination connectors, an RCA stereo pair, or a 3.5mm stereo input. Channels 7/8 provide wireless stereo Bluetooth audio streaming for music playback and accompaniment. Two independent effects channels offer 30 studio-quality presets, including reverb, delay, chorus, and flanger. QuickSmart DSP provides direct control through an LCD display and single-knob interface, while the QuickSmart Mobile app enables wireless configuration, mixing, effects adjustment, and monitoring over Bluetooth Low Energy. Four application presets—Music, Live, Speech, and Club—allow quick optimization for different sound reinforcement requirements. A three-band system EQ, seven-band graphic EQ in Mixer mode, and five user-programmable presets offer additional customization. Other functions include +15V phantom power on XLR microphone inputs 1-4, independent channel auxiliary sends, input-level monitoring, visual limiter indication, and master volume control. The mobile app supports simultaneous control of up to six compatible EVOLVE 30M systems.

I have 2 of the EV 30M's and they are absolutely killer. Solo gigs I usually use one, trio gigs I'll use both. I have at least 400 shows on these and they work amazingly well. The app works great, very intuitive. You get the very most out of it if you READ THE MANUAL! To connect to Bluetooth you connect to the app and then open your settings and connect the speaker again. If you have multiple speakers this allow you to choose what system gets the signal. There is a Global EQ setting that is very useful. I find you get the most out of the system if you use a wireless mic or something with a preamp. I often run a small mixer- it helps with noise. Great System.
I purchased an Evolve 30M for my cocktail hour system, or to flex it as a ceremony speaker if instrumentalists wanted to tap in. It is a quality unit, typical for Electro Voice. The sound is pretty good, but I had to turn up the sub gain to get music a little punchier. Bluetooth has been a big issue for me with the unit I ordered. I am completely unable to utilize the EV Quick Smart app on my android phone to adjust levels, DSP, effects, etc. It is annoying to pull the unit away from the wall to make adjustments on a small screen with a single knob. The unit will connect to my phone or laptop, but the bluetooth range is limited and drops and pops several times while playing songs. I don't experience that with other BT devices I use regularly. Additionally, I use an Xvive wireless XLR to connect multiple EV speakers together, and 2.4GHz interference is a nightmare. Even after switching channels on the Xvive, the bluetooth interference (also in the GHz spectrum) makes wireless music nearly impossible. So far, if I want clean, reliable music playback, I have to run a cable to the Evolve 30. Not that it's a bad thing, but I chose this unit over all the other column arrays thinking that EV had the best app and controllability. I'm not sure if EV is updating firmware or the bluetooth architecture on these units before shipping them out, or if they stopped updating their Quick Smart app. With the Evolve series getting a little old, I wonder if EV is preparing for an all new product launch and are leaving things be with this series. Final gripe is that the subwoofer/mixer unit should come with a fabric cover. I knew that it didn't before buying, but it should. EV knows it's mobile DJs buying their products, just give us everything we need, especially for the price we pay.
