EV Q1212<br /> The EV Q series amps are Class H rail switching. This means the amplifier pulls less power at lower volume and generates less heat than A/B amps of the same power. The XLR balanced inputs with pass through outputs along with Speakon connectors that are wired for biamp speakers shows that this is an amp for a serious pro. In addition the protection package includes sophisticated circuits against overheating, short circuit, DC output voltage, HF oscillation, back EMF (Electromotive Force), and destructive peak current.
