The Electro-Voice R300-HD Handheld Wireless Microphone System is a
cost-effective microphone system well suited for nightclubs, auditoriums,
houses-of-worship, DJs and other applications. The R300-HD includes the R300
true-antenna diversity receiver and HT300 handheld microphone with PL22 cardioid,
dynamic capsule. The system features 32 user selectable frequency channels and
diversity reception for minimizing RF interference.
The ClearScan feature provides single-touch frequency scanning for effortless
searches of ideal operating frequencies. Easily keep the transmitter and
receiver in sync with the EZsync infrared channel transfer feature. The R300
receiver features 1/4" phone and XLR outputs on the rear and the HT300 operates
for up to 14 hours on a pair of AA alkaline batteries.

Simplicity is the word with the Electro-Voice R300 Hand-held wireless system. Featuring ClearScan a system that scans through the R300's 32 preset channels and selects the clearest channel all with the touch of a single button. This is a great feature if you will be working in places where others may be using wireless systems. In addition EZsync matches the frequencies of the transmitter and receiver also with one button push. A dual antenna UHF system ensures great reception with no dropouts.
This was purchased based on a recommendation from KPODJ. I was in need of another MIC Kit and was going to buy another Shure SLX system but at half the price I thought sure why not and was told it was good.<br /> <br /> Sound wise very happy. Like all of the brand name wireless stuff test plug and play turn it on you don't need to twiddle with knobs and frequencies but of course you can Iam not reviewing that part at the moment. Its sound quality is great and battery life is wonderful. HERE ARE MY Concerns nothing major but just wish I knew about them before I got it. Still would have not changed my mind but still.<br /> <br /> - HUGE ANTENNAS. MASSIVE I have to unscrew them afar every gig<br /> - The receiver is a big box no leaving it in the coffin with the mic like the Shure setup. I have to hide it under the DJ rig<br /> - No Battery readout on the receiver (new batteries every time just in case)<br /> On Off switch on the bottom. COOL YES but still people are idiots and are looking for the on off slider (can't blame them I love simple things in life<br /> <br /> Apart from that though a great unit. The size is really the only thing loosing the star on this but for the price this is an AWESOME piece of kit to have reliable dependable and just works.
