Everything I needed in speaker as far as build quality and setting up in tight spaces. Happy to have them. Pricier for sure but worth the money for sure!. Hopefully the touring model will come in white.
They are all steel - therefore they weigh a ton. It might be a few months before I actually get to use them due to all the shut downs from the virus. I do think that they will indeed work well for the purpose that I have of updating my DJ lighting set up along with my Bose L1 Model ii speakers. The telescoping feature that works on a ratchet system is a nice addition.
Looks much cleaner than standard tripods and is very sturdy base. Though much heavier, it stands strong. The base has solid rubber- ish feet. The feet may need tightened occasionally, but I have yet to lose any. The base is seemingly powder coated steel which stays on even with minor dings, but the sides are a bit sharper and less rounded, which isn't a major problem unless you ding them up, which may cause sharp steel to be exposed. The pole is also heavy and sturdy and can handle my 50 inch tv plus the gravity tv mount. Consider mounting heavy objects or front leaning items in the rear input hole. Even so, I've mounted heavier items in the center without any issue. Can handle bumps without fear of collapsing as tripods might, but of course, safety first! Beware the plastic cap on the bottom of the pole which can come loose and get stuck in the bottom half of the telescoping base presenting issues. Overall, excellent. I bought an extra pole and I plan to buy a second full set eventually.
The first thing I noticed was how heavy the stand was. It’s made extremely well and sturdy. Have no fears about the weight it can hold. Like most others, I wanted to get away from the tripod, a lot of times I don’t have the room to set up a tripod.. The stand looks great and saves a ton of room. At first I didn’t know if the stand was going to worth the price, but after having it and using it, it was well worth it.
Parish C: Thanks!
