I have 10 Fab5's, and am very happy with Blizzards products and Customer Service. As happy as I am with the Fab5's, I now wish I had bought the HotBox RGBAW's instead. The build quality, as well as the size make them superior in every way, and with the addition of UV, I really can't imagine this fixture getting much nicer.

Like the Fab5's, these fixtures are super bright, and the color mixing is superb. However, you should know that the UV LED's are nowhere near as powerful as a dedicated UV fixture, such as the ADJ Eco UV Bar Plus, which I have 4 of. However, the option is VERY nice to have included, and help punch up the UV effect for Blacklight events. If you are going to buy RGBAW fixtures, you may as well spring for these fixtures instead to add to your flexibility. Great fixture, would recommend to anyone looking for the best color mixing available.
Awesome lights! Great color range, powerful, well built, small. Received them quickly and at a great price from KPODJ. They would be a 5 except for the type of power cords Blizzard decided to use on these. They give you as short of cord as possible, so you have to either use extension cords or purchase connectors and cords to make your own. You can buy longer ones, but they are expensive. I purchased 6 more after my initial purchase so I felt the good outweighed the bad, however. They work great with a Chauvet Obey 6 by the way.
This little unit really lives up to its name, Hot! Quite possibly the most well-built fixture in its class, Blizzard's HotBox EXA has all the features you would come to expect from it, including brilliant light output, superb color mixing, not to mention, UV! Love the fact that it's rugged, metal box means it won't get beat up very easily without a fight. I'm a big fan of Blizzard's use of PowerCon connectors on their fixtures to minimize accidental disconnects. One of my favorites. Great light!
I have a bunch of cheaper lights from ADJ and Chauvet. Upon the recommendation from KPODJ I decided to pick these lights up for uplighting a wedding. Let's just say the color and brightness is amazing and I really liked the ability to use UV if you wanted to. This is a well made product with high quality power connections. The color mixing is extremely nice.

I would definitely recommend this light to anyone who still wants a super bright and powerful small light.
These are tiny (a 5 inch cube) but make no mistake, these are pro lights. A solid metal case, PowerCon connectors in and out, RGBAW + UV, a double yoke for a stable floor mount and a pretty quiet fan.

And its features are well thought out. Example: the double yoke arms fit one under the other, so if you're hanging the light you can put them together and put the clamp bolt through both yokes, so you don't have the extra yoke arm getting in the way. And while they are made in China, like all the rest of the DJ lights, it seems, Blizzard does a final Quality Control check on every light at their Wisconsin HQ, before shipping them out. I have four so far, but there are definitely more in my future.
Joshua Angel: I have to say, at first the PowerCon fittings were an irritant for me. I already have an extensive collection of black extension cords, so having to invest in new PowerCon compatible cords did not excite me. However, after using the PowerCon fittings, I have a great appreciation for why Blizzard moved in this direction. Anyone who has had issues with fixtures coming unplugged during a gig will love that the PowerCon cables lock in place and will not come unplugged whenever a fixture is jostled.

If you think in terms of Blizzards business model, moving to PowerCon fittings make sense. Blizzard is the "mid-range" company, price-wise. Their fixtures are a little more expensive than the cheapest companies (ADJ, Chauvet) and you get a better quality fixture for your money. So moving to PowerCon fits in that category: a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. In this case you get fixtures with more reliable performance because they won't flicker or come unplugged due to jostling.

So the PowerCon thing is worth it if you have the extra $ to spend, in my opinion. And no, I'm not a Blizzard employee, LOL
