RCF P4228 Description
The
RCF P4228 combines durability and performance in a compact, weatherproof enclosure. It features dual 8" woofers paired with a 1.4" neodymium compression driver to deliver a frequency range of 80 Hz to 20,000 Hz at up to 129 dB SPL. The symmetrical driver arrangement ensures controlled horizontal dispersion, while the CMD horn design provides 110° x 60° coverage with consistent tonal balance.
Built for challenging environments, the single-piece rotomolded cabinet is fully UV-protected and rated IP55, making it ideal for outdoor applications. Its powder-coated aluminum grille with water-repellent fabric backing provides further protection from the elements. Connections are secured through an Amphenol IP67 4-pole connector, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh weather.
With its included stainless steel U-bracket and four M8 inserts, the P4228 supports flexible installation in vertical or horizontal orientations. RCF’s AMCDP driver protection and LICC crossover technology ensure accurate, reliable performance, making it an excellent choice for fixed installations requiring wide coverage and robust output.
