RCF P4228-W Description
The
RCF P4228-W is engineered for high-output performance in challenging environments. With dual 8" woofers and a 1.4" neodymium compression driver mounted on a CMD horn, it achieves a maximum SPL of 129 dB and covers a frequency range of 80 Hz – 20,000 Hz. The symmetrical woofer design provides controlled horizontal dispersion, ensuring consistent audio across large spaces.
Constructed from UV-protected, rotomolded polyethylene, the cabinet is built to withstand outdoor use and meets IP55 standards. Its corrosion-resistant stainless steel U-bracket and four M8 mounting points support secure installations in vertical or horizontal orientations. The powder-coated aluminum grille is backed with water-repellent cloth, further enhancing its resistance to environmental factors.
RCF’s proprietary technologies enhance performance: LICC (Low Impedance Compensated Crossover) ensures clarity and phase stability, while AMCDP (Active Mosfet Compression Driver Protection) provides extra reliability at high output levels.
