LD Systems MAILA M is a full-range, 10kW stereo sound reinforcement system that merges ground stack PA, column array, and line array technologies into one scalable solution. Designed for maximum flexibility, it delivers powerful bass, controlled dispersion, and precise coverage for live events, clubs, festivals, and corporate productions.
The LD Systems MAILA M is built around a powerful stereo configuration delivering a total RMS output of 10,000 watts. The system combines two 2x15" high-performance bandpass subwoofers with cardioid capability, two MAILA COL powered column modules, and eight MAILA SAT passive array satellites. This hybrid concept provides the punch of a large-format PA with the precision and flexibility of a modern line array.
Each MAILA SUB features dual 15" neodymium woofers in a bandpass design, powered by a 2,500W Class D amplifier with advanced DSP processing. With a low frequency extension down to 33 Hz and peak SPL up to 137 dB, the subs deliver deep, controlled bass ideal for high-impact music applications.
The MAILA COL column modules house four 6.5" neodymium woofers and an integrated 2,500W 4-channel DSP amplifier. They power and control up to eight MAILA SAT satellites via SmartLink+® rails, eliminating external speaker cabling between modules. The satellites utilize Advanced WaveAhead® technology, pairing five 1" tweeters with a 6.5" midrange driver for true line array dispersion and extended throw. An integrated passive membrane enhances low-mid punch down to 100 Hz.
For ultimate coverage flexibility, each satellite features the patented EasySplay® mechanism, allowing angle adjustment from 0° to 8° with one hand—even under load. Wireless configuration via the MAILA Quick Setup App (iPadOS) enables fast system optimization, while LogoLink® integrates wireless antennas discreetly into the LD logo for reliable connectivity up to 30 meters. Whether deployed as a ground stack up to 2.9 meters high or in flown configurations, MAILA M adapts to virtually any professional sound reinforcement environment.
