Dual AES50 Output Stagebox

The Midas MDS-DL231 is a high-end digital stagebox offering 24 electronically balanced outputs with advanced AES50 networking and redundancy features. Ideal for large-scale productions and mission-critical live sound environments, it supports dual redundant AES50 ports and remote operation up to 100 meters over standard CAT5/5e cabling.

Midas MDS-DL231 Competitive Differences

  • Dual redundant AES50 ports for fail-safe audio networking
  • 24 output channels routable from mic preamps or AES50 inputs

Midas MDS-DL231 Description

The MDS-DL231 delivers flexible and reliable stage connectivity for modern digital audio systems. With 24 electronically balanced output channels, it allows routing from either onboard microphone preamps or external AES50 network sources. Dual redundant AES50 ports with independent phase-locked loop (PLL) synchronization ensure stable and continuous audio transmission—even in critical situations. Selectable operation at 48kHz or 96kHz sample rates provides compatibility across a wide range of professional digital audio workflows. The DL231 is capable of remote operation up to 100 meters away via standard CAT5/5e cable, making it ideal for front-of-house, stage rack, or broadcast applications. Built into a robust rackmount chassis, the MDS-DL231 is engineered for the demands of touring, fixed installations, and broadcast production.
