I purchased this unit after I sold off my overweight and aging CDJ-800, DJM-707, Serato Scratch Live SL1 setup. I'm not really a 'working' DJ per se, but I've been a hobbyist for about 10 years and I often get called on to provide music for family parties etc. I prefer to mix and not just run a playlist. The DDJ-SB2 can do 10x what my old setup could do at a fraction of the cost and size. This is obviously at the low-end of Pioneer's controller lineup, but it still maintains the quality I expect from Pioneer DJ. The case itself feels a little cheap, but this price point, it is expected. The most important parts...the jog wheels and the buttons, feel very solid. I put together a 4 hour set at a Christmas party the other night and it worked flawlessly. Serato DJ Intro has more than enough features for what I need, but I downloaded the 14 day trail of the full Serato DJ, and I do prefer it given the interface is very similar to SSL. I have had a lot of fun playing with the effects which my prior setup lacked. If you are looking to get into DJing, or you need something compact that still has all the features you want from a larger setup, this is a great unit. I decided to purchase it from KPODJ for no other reason than the fact that they had the best price I could find and free shipping. It was on a UPS truck the day after I placed the order. I recommend the product and KPODJ, and will certainly use them for future purchases.
Being that this is my first DJ Controller I can't really say too much about it other than it is a great way to get in to DJ'ing without spending a lot on a mid-range or top of the line controller. I phoned my order in to KPODJ and received excellent service. Shipping was fast to my location. Will definitely be coming back to KPODJ for my future DJ'ing needs.
