While the case is well made and will fit my needs perfectly, I'm knocking off a star for a mistake in the description that could sway a purchaser in the wrong direction. The mistake is saying that the case is built of "laminated 3/8" plywood construction". No way. Probably 1/4", but not what is advertised. Now, with that in mind, this is a fine case for my needs- A not too heavy wireless rack that is only carefully handled by me. It will last a long time and fill my requirements perfectly. As usual, KPODJ's ordering process was stellar, and their prices can't be beat.
Well, this is my second one of these, and I stand by all of my remarks made in my first review. I do like the case, and it is perfect for my needs. The one bit of weirdness about this one is that while I ordered the exact same item, rack #2 is one inch deeper. While not a deal breaker, it would have been nice to have identical racks for stacking purposes. Again, dealing with KPODJ was as painless a procedure as one could ever hope for.
Went to buy a third one of these, but they were on backorder (and months later, looks like they still are). I needed this one for a different use, and KPODJ's customer service folks were able to get me an 8U rack for a small upcharge, which wound up suiting my needs even better. The CSR I dealt with was stellar, I'm sorry but I forgot her name, but she is an asset to your company if any KPO brass is reading. The rack itself is entirely adequate for my needs, but the above and beyond service from KPODJ is what keeps me coming back.
