The ProX XS-SLAM8U14 is engineered for professionals who need dependable rack protection and fast equipment access in demanding production environments. Its 8U vertical rack layout supports standard 19-inch rack gear such as wireless microphone receivers, in-ear monitor systems, signal processors, power conditioners, audio interfaces, network switches, lighting processors, broadcast electronics, and compact AV control equipment.

The dual Top Slam sliding door design allows the front and rear doors to lift upward and retract into the top section of the case. This eliminates the need to remove and store separate lids during setup, keeping work areas cleaner and making the case easier to use in tight stages, control rooms, mobile rigs, and production spaces.

For equipment protection, the case uses an internal shockmount rack frame designed to reduce vibration and impact transfer during transport and handling. The rack rails are mounted within the shockmount system, helping protect sensitive rack-mounted electronics during touring, rental, broadcast, and installation use.
