The ProX XSM-LDMAU44GX2 is a heavy-duty touring flight case designed to transport and protect two LD Systems MAUI 44 G2 systems. Made in Portugal by Santosom, it combines a reinforced 10mm birch plywood shell, aluminum hybrid lid, custom foam protection, dedicated column storage, and 5-inch casters for professional touring, rental, AV, and live production applications.
The ProX XSM-LDMAU44GX2 is engineered for audio professionals who need a single transport solution for two complete LD Systems MAUI 44 G2 systems. Custom foam inserts secure the main cabinets against movement during transit, while a separate undercarriage provides dedicated storage for four MAUI 44 G2 column speakers.
The case uses a 10mm birch plywood laminate shell reinforced with 32mm aluminum L-angle edging, eight ball corners, and eight large corner braces. A 10mm aluminum hybrid lid adds rigidity to the upper surface, while four large butterfly latches secure the case during transport. These construction details make the case suitable for repeated load-ins, load-outs, storage, and touring use.
Inside the main section, 2-inch foam protection surrounds the equipment to help reduce shifting, vibration, and contact with the case walls. Additional storage space provides room for compatible cables, hardware, and other system accessories. Below the main compartment, four individual foam-lined storage channels organize and protect the MAUI 44 G2 column speakers.
For handling, the case includes eight recessed sprung handles for multi-person lifting and four 5-inch casters for rolling across venues, warehouses, and production spaces. Two casters include brakes for stationary positioning. A caster dish in the lid supports secure case stacking, while a 185mm x 135mm label dish provides a dedicated location for tour, inventory, or ownership identification.
