QSC E118SW Black Description
The QSC E118SW Black is built for users who need serious low-end reinforcement from a passive subwoofer. Its direct-radiation bass-reflex design uses a single 18-inch woofer with a 4-inch voice coil, making it suitable for live music, DJs, dance music, karaoke, theater reinforcement, and event production.
With 800W continuous and 3200W peak power handling, the E118SW Black is designed to be used with a suitable external amplifier. QSC recommends using a speaker processor or an amplifier with integrated DSP to manage crossover, limiting, and equalization for best performance.
The E118SW Black can be integrated into the QSC E Series Entertainment System when paired with compatible QSC GXD or PLD amplifiers, or with a QSC TouchMix digital mixer. These platforms provide factory-tuned DSP presets for applications such as live sound reinforcement, dance music, karaoke, and systems using subwoofers.
For durability, the enclosure is built from rugged plywood with a black textured paint finish and a foam-lined perforated steel grille. Four side handles help with transport and positioning, while the top-mounted M20 threaded socket and included 24-inch speaker pole make it easy to pair the subwoofer with E Series full-range loudspeakers.
