QSC LS118 Description
The QSC LS118 is designed to complement QSC LA108 and LA112 active line array loudspeakers, giving system designers and production teams a scalable subwoofer solution for modern sound reinforcement. Its purpose-designed 18-inch woofer and bass-reflex enclosure provide strong low-frequency performance for music playback, live sound, corporate AV, houses of worship, and installed venue systems.
At the core of the LS118 is a 4000W peak Class-D amplifier module engineered for high output with efficient power use. The subwoofer reaches up to 138 dB peak SPL, making it suitable for demanding applications where clean, extended bass and deployment flexibility are essential.
QSC Acoustic Linear Phase technology helps the LS118 integrate coherently with other compatible QSC loudspeakers in the same system, supporting a more uniform listening experience throughout the venue. QSC SysNav control allows users to design, configure, monitor, and apply signal processing to individual subwoofers, full arrays, or combined system groupings from a compatible iPadOS device.
For advanced system layouts, the QSC LS118 supports both omnidirectional and cardioid radiation modes, with cardioid operation requiring a minimum of two units. Dante audio-over-IP, Q-SYS integration, analog XLR input and thru, and powerCON power input and output make the LS118 well suited for plug-and-play AV installs, rental systems, and professional live production environments.
