RCF P 5228 is a high-output, weather-resistant two-way speaker designed for fixed installations in large indoor or outdoor venues. With dual 8" woofers and dual 1.75" compression drivers, it provides precise, wide-area coverage and outstanding vocal clarity—even in demanding environments.
The RCF P 5228 combines powerful sound reinforcement capabilities with all-weather durability. Designed for high-performance installations in stadiums, arenas, theme parks, and other large venues, it delivers up to 131 dB SPL with consistent 90° x 20° dispersion. The symmetrical transducer layout ensures even coverage, making it suitable for both individual use and array configurations.
Its dual 8" neodymium woofers with 2.5" voice coils produce solid low-end performance, while the two 1.75" diaphragm compression drivers provide crisp, articulate highs. The integrated LICC crossover and AMCDP protection circuitry maintain reliability and tonal accuracy even at high output levels.
The enclosure is built from single-piece, rotomolded low-density polyethylene with full UV protection. With an IP55 rating and corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel bracket, the P 5228 is ready for year-round outdoor use. A water-repellent aluminum grille, sealed input panel with Amphenol IP67 connector, and rotatable logo plate round out this rugged and flexible installation speaker.
