The Samson Resound VX6.1 is a lightweight 400W portable column array PA system designed to deliver clear, full-range sound in a compact package that is easy to transport and set up. An 8-inch subwoofer works with six 2.5-inch neodymium array drivers to produce balanced coverage with up to 125 dB maximum SPL for musicians, mobile DJs, houses of worship, restaurants, retail spaces, and live productions.
The Samson Resound VX6.1 combines an 8-inch subwoofer with six 2.5-inch neodymium drivers arranged in a vertical column array. A Class-D amplifier supplies 400 watts of total system power, split between 200 watts for the subwoofer and 200 watts for the array, while the system reaches a maximum SPL of 125 dB. Frequency response extends from 60 Hz to 20 kHz at -3 dB and 40 Hz to 20 kHz at -6 dB.
An integrated 3-channel mixer allows the VX6.1 to serve as the center of a compact live sound system. The first two channels provide XLR/TRS combo connections for microphones, line-level equipment, and instruments, while stereo sources can connect through RCA, 3.5mm TRS, or Bluetooth. Samson XPD Wireless USB compatibility also allows supported XPD Series wireless systems to be integrated without a separate conventional receiver connection.
Five selectable DSP presets help optimize the system for different applications, while per-channel 2-band EQ and variable reverb provide additional control over vocals, instruments, and program material. True Wireless Stereo technology allows two VX6.1 systems to be paired wirelessly for stereo Bluetooth playback when a wider sound system is required.
The VX6.1 is designed specifically for portable use. Its interlocking column sections assemble without a separate speaker stand and store in the rear of the subwoofer when transportation is required. At 40 lb, the complete system is well suited for gigging musicians, mobile DJs, houses of worship, restaurants, retail environments, presentations, theaters, and production applications where fast setup and compact storage are important.
