The Shure SLXD3+ converts a compatible XLR microphone or audio source into a wireless transmitter for an SLX-D+ digital wireless system. Its locking XLR connector provides a secure, wobble-free attachment, while selectable 12–48V phantom power supports both dynamic and condenser microphones.

Wireless XLR Connectivity for Production and Live Sound

The Shure SLXD3+ gives production teams, broadcasters, presenters, houses of worship, and live sound engineers a flexible way to place an XLR audio source wherever it is needed without running a traditional microphone cable. Connect a compatible handheld, shotgun, interview, or condenser microphone and transmit its signal to a linked SLX-D+ receiver.

The transmitter delivers transparent 24-bit digital audio with a dynamic range exceeding 118 dB. Its 138 MHz wide tuning range provides additional frequency flexibility across different venues and geographic areas, supporting up to 11 simultaneous systems within a 6 MHz television band or up to 14 systems within an 8 MHz television band.

Once paired, Automatic Setup helps keep the transmitter and receiver connected when RF conditions change. ShowLink Ease allows compatible receivers to remotely change the transmitter frequency, adjust RF output power, lock or unlock transmitter controls, and perform transmitter firmware updates.

RF status and system parameters can also be monitored through Shure Wireless Workbench desktop software or the WWB Mobile app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth when used with compatible SLX-D+ system components.
