Ultratec Radiance Hazer (Ultra Tech Radiance Hazer)
Ultratec´s Radiance Haze Machine is the next major advancement in Water Based
Haze Technology. Once again, Ultratec is setting new standards that all other
haze machines will be measured against. Ultratec Hazer Features include: Built-In DMX that
controls both the Haze Output and the Internal Fan. This combination offers
excellent Haze Control and Even Dispersion. The Radiance can also be operated by
an optional Remote or by utilizing the on board variable settings. Additional
features include an IDC removable Power Cable and multiple use Bracket. The
Ultratec Radiance Hazer uses the Luminous 7 Haze Fluid which is a proven fluid that offers the
best in low consumption and great hang time. It utilizes the various sizes of
the Ultratec fluid containers.
Serviceability is key; built with Ultratec´s innovative 4-Port Rapid Clean
Vaporizer. It can be cleaned and returned to service in less than 15 minutes.

Theatrical Smoke and Haze" that has been prepared with the support of Equity
League Pension and Health Trust Funds et al., and can be used in compliance with
ANSI standards for theatrical fog and the PLASA (previously ESTA) Fog Testing
Program.

The Ultratec Radiance Hazer is a water based hazer. This is great for many reasons. I have seen the oil residue that oil based hazers leave on equpment, the stage and other props and it is not pretty or easy to clean up. It also is a safety hazzard with the residue on hard floors. On top of being water based, the unit has built in DMX, a fast warm up time and continues output. This is one of the top hazers in the touring and broadway markets for its reliability and solid build that can take the abuse of the road. These hazers are beasts. Ultratec did a beautiful job in the construction and they have a huge output. I have 4 Reelfx DF50s that we love, but a tour came through and they had a couple of these Ultratec Radiance Hazers and by the end of the show I knew i had to get some. they have only one real downside (especially if you use df50) and that is start up time. It's 8 min. But once they are running its so wonderful you forget about those 8 mins. Fluid use varies greatly on these as i have emptied 2 gallons a day running they almost full out for 14 hrs straight. but if you turn them all the way down and the fans to med/high they perform very much like a df50. All in all I love these and I love using them. If by chance you have df50s like I do, these work very well together with the Radiance filling the room and the df50 keeping it full.<br /> Cheers
