The Void Acoustics Venu 218 V2 is a high-output, reflex-loaded dual 18-inch passive subwoofer designed for nightclubs, bars, lounges, hotels, restaurants, fitness facilities, corporate AV systems, and other demanding fixed installations. With 2400W AES power handling and a maximum calculated output of 138 dB peak, it delivers powerful, controlled low-frequency reinforcement from a compact dual-driver enclosure.
Two high-excursion 18-inch transducers feature 4-inch voice coils and FEM-optimized motors for high power handling, dependable operation, and low-distortion bass reproduction. Its recessed connection panel permits placement directly against a rear wall, while the optional M20 top-hat allows a compatible satellite speaker to be mounted above the subwoofer.
The Venu 218 V2 expands the Venu V2 Series with the output and low-frequency extension required for larger venues. Its two direct-radiating 18-inch drivers operate inside a reflex-loaded cabinet engineered to produce substantial bass impact while maintaining the controlled, low-distortion performance expected from a permanently installed sound system.
A 4-ohm nominal impedance and 2400W AES power rating make the enclosure suitable for use with high-output amplification. Void Acoustics recommends the Bias Q5 as the minimum amplifier for the Venu 218 V2, allowing the system to take advantage of optimized loudspeaker presets and appropriate processing.
The recessed connector panel is positioned so the enclosure can sit directly against a rear wall without cables or connectors interfering with placement. A removable cover plate accommodates an optional M20 top-hat, providing a convenient mounting point for a compatible full-range satellite loudspeaker.
The cabinet is manufactured from 18mm multi-laminate birch plywood and includes side and rear handles, a wraparound perforated-steel grille, foam filtration, and a rotatable Void badge. An optional caster kit is also available for applications where the subwoofer must be repositioned periodically.
The Venu 218 V2 is available in black with a black grille or white with a white grille as standard. Barewood and Vintage natural wood body finishes are also available. Custom RAL colors may be specified for both the enclosure and grille, with KROME grille finishes available upon request.
