Wireless In-Ear Monitor System

The Xvive U45 is a compact 5.8 GHz wireless in-ear monitoring system designed to send a mono monitor mix from a mixer, audio interface, or other audio source directly to a performer's earphones or headphones. With 24-bit/48 kHz audio, 5 ms latency, a 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, and up to 100 ft of line-of-sight operating range, it provides performers with a portable monitoring solution for live shows, rehearsals, recording sessions, and private practice.

Xvive U45 Description

The Xvive U45 consists of a compact U45T transmitter and U45R belt-pack receiver. The transmitter connects directly to a balanced XLR audio output or to a mono 1/4 in TS output using the supplied adapter, while the receiver provides a 3.5 mm dual-mono headphone output for connecting in-ear monitors, earphones, or headphones.

Audio is transmitted at 24-bit/48 kHz resolution with a wide 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, 110 dB dynamic range, 110 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and 0.2% total harmonic distortion. The mono system operates in the 5.8 GHz ISM band and provides six selectable channels, allowing up to six compatible systems to operate in the same area. The receiver's channel-scan function helps identify the optimal available wireless channel before the transmitter is set to the matching channel.

Both components use molded plastic and cast metal housings for a balance of portability and durability. The transmitter weighs just 3.17 oz (90 g), while the receiver weighs 4.16 oz (118 g), making the system easy to integrate into a performer's stage setup. Internal rechargeable lithium-ion batteries deliver up to 5 hours of operation and recharge through USB in approximately 2.5 hours.

The U45 is suitable for musicians, vocalists, DJs, presenters, recording performers, and other users who need freedom of movement while monitoring audio. Multiple receivers can also be set to the same transmitter channel when several listeners need to hear the same mono signal.
