Yamaha HS8S brings studio-grade bass performance to any mixing environment with a powerful 150-watt Class-D amplifier and a highly responsive 8" cone woofer. Constructed with a dense MDF enclosure and a traditional three-way mitered joint design, the HS8S minimizes unwanted cabinet resonance while maximizing durability. Yamaha’s advanced port design further reduces airflow noise by up to 6dB, ensuring transparent low-end detail without distortion.
Onboard controls provide precision integration with your studio monitors. The high cut control adjusts output filtering from 80Hz to 120Hz, while the low cut switch and variable filter help tailor the system to your room acoustics. A phase switch enables better alignment with your main monitors, improving overall mix balance.
Equipped with both balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs and stereo XLR outputs (including EXT SUB out), the HS8S supports a wide range of professional audio interfaces and monitor configurations.
