The Yamaha MGP32X A offers the immediate control of a traditional analog console with Yamaha digital processing integrated behind the mixing surface. Its 32-input capacity includes 24 mono microphone and line channels plus four stereo input channels, providing ample connectivity for vocals, instruments, wireless microphones, playback equipment, and other event sources.
Each microphone channel features a discrete Class-A D-PRE preamp, independently switchable 48V phantom power, and a 100Hz high-pass filter. X-pressive EQ supports musical frequency adjustment, while 16 one-knob compressors make it easier to control vocals and instruments without requiring complicated parameter adjustments or external dynamics processors.
The full-size control surface provides dedicated channel controls for efficient hands-on mixing. Four group buses, four AUX sends, two FX sends switchable to AUX 5 and AUX 6, two matrix outputs, and a dedicated mono output support monitor mixes, recording feeds, delay speakers, subwoofers, and multi-zone sound systems.
Dual onboard effects include Yamaha REV-X reverb with eight programs and an SPX multi-effects processor with 16 programs. USB device recording and playback, master compression, graphic EQ, Priority Ducker, and Leveler processing make the console well suited for live bands, corporate events, houses of worship, schools, party venues, and permanent sound installations.
