Yorkville finally caught up with the battery operating power speaker and blew them over with this exceptional speaker. Very light weight powerful 200 watts amp with plenty of inputs and out puts. Definitely recommend
Absolutely incredible sound. I had the JBL eon One Compact and was looking for better sound quality. This is it. Plenty of battery life at medium-high volume for weddings and events. Love it! Thank you Yorkville.
Own two Yorkville EXM Mobile 8. I needed something like a QSC K8 but battery powered with BlueTooth. The Yorkville EXM Mobile 8 is no where as loud as a QSC K8 but for what I need it's perfect. Within its volume range the sound is excellent! But at its maximum volume before distortion there is cabinet resonance and oddly since the speaker is so light the tripod also resonates more than with a heavier speaker. The only feature that seems to have no use is the notch filter. No amount of adjustment seemed to have any effect. Another oddity of the speaker is that the three microphone inputs all sound slightly diffrent, like there is a diffrent circuit the signal goes through depending on which XLR input you use. Can't rate the battery's longevity in years but per charge it lasts the advertised 5 hours with plenty of battery left (not at max volume).
You won’t be disappointed. I own 2 of these and like one reviewer stated above you do get the cabinet does resonate but it provides good bass. With the coax design the mids are great and actually need to bring highs up. They really shine when you don’t use BT module(which range is horrible) and send a clean signal from a mixer. Battery life is more than adequate I did about 7-8hrs feeding them mixer signal moderate/high volume finished night at 1-bar. FYI the jbl compact cases/backpacks fit these perfect. The exm sub was ok but it only covers instrument LF not electronic LF 45hz down music. It’s more ceramony/cocktail hour use or solo acoustic setup geared. Also they play while charging with not much noise introduced if you do get in a bind.
