These cables have always worked for me without any problems. The jacket is soft and flexible, but rugged and tough. The plug ends don't fall apart like some of the lesser brands. Yet they can be taken apart if service is ever needed. American DJ to me has always been a good middle of the road company. There are higher brands and lesser brands. But for something simple like a cable I don't feel like I need to spend a ton of money, yet i didn't want to cheap out either.
