The ADJ UB 6H is a 22.5-inch (.5 meter) professional grade indoor linear fixture powered by six 6W-Watt HEX RGBWA+UV (6-IN-1) LEDs. Its bright chromatic 40-degree beam angle provides vibrant HEX color mixing designed for washing stages, walls and dance floors. Its rugged casing with patent pending Quick Align end locking allows for a seamless output of light with no breaks of color.
The ADJ UB 6H features built-in Color Macros (built-in preset colors), 4 DMX Channel Modes, 0-100% dimming and variable speed strobe. Plus, it offers flexible programming from its on-board 4-Button LED DMX-512 menu, or from the ADJ RFC wireless RF remote (sold separately). Lightweight and compact but powerful light. Set up is easy as you can power chain them, use the magnet to make them into bigger bars and use the IR remote instead of running DMX cables. This can be a simple static/sound active light or dmx and pick colors within 3 sections. I would say the UV light is not as powerful as the rest but it's nice to have for more mixing options.
These lights are nice, clean looking, and bright! Also very versatile as they can be used as uplighting, downlights, eye candy lights, crowd blinders, or floor wash coverage. As nice as these lights CAN be an their clean look and great coverage, they tend to fail rather quickly even with careful transport in a bag and care. I have 4 of these lights for less than 3 years, used occasionally. Probably less than 100 hours on each. My original two work flawlessly but of the two purchased about a year ago, one did not work via DMX from the very start. Now the second one after being used about 20 hours will not power on. As much as I want to chalk it up to poor luck, it sounds like their quality control has missed something with an entire batch. Roll the dice and hope you get lucky I suppose? And it's a hassle to have ADJ or KPO address these issues without putting money out of your pocket and being without a fixture for months.
In my experience, these and the UB 12H are extremely durable. We have 2 each on an art car and they've been to several festivals, they've been rained on, covered in dust, kicked, dropped, baked in the desert sun and they still work 2 years later (purchased Dec'21)
