The ADJ WMX WING powered by WOLFMIX is a dedicated control expansion for compatible WMX1 lighting controllers, adding motorized faders, OLED displays, an expanded RGB button matrix, dedicated group controls, rotary encoders, and additional DMX connectivity. It gives lighting operators a larger hands-on workspace for programming and performing complex shows while maintaining the intuitive WOLFMIX workflow.
The ADJ WMX WING is designed to turn a compatible WMX1 controller into a larger integrated lighting control system. When connected to a WMX1, WMX1 MK2, or WMX1 MK3, projects synchronize between the controllers and the WING expands the controls available for the active operating mode.
Its control surface features eight motorized capacitive-touch faders, eight OLED displays, 57 RGB-backlit silicone buttons, four rotary encoders, dedicated group selection controls, and physical OK/GO and CANCEL buttons. All eight fixture groups can be placed directly in front of the operator for faster access to dimming, flash, solo, selection, effects, cue playback, and other commonly used functions.
For larger lighting systems, the WMX WING includes four DMX outputs consisting of two 3-pin and two 5-pin XLR connectors. Each output can be freely assigned to an available universe. The system supports two included universes, expansion to four universes with an add-on, and up to eight fused universes or 4,096 DMX channels when used with a WMX1 system.
The controller supports projects containing up to 680 fixtures, 1,500 beams, 50 fixture types, and 5,000 fixture features. Cue List mode supports up to 5,000 cues, while Control mode provides direct access to parameters including dimmer, color, pan, tilt, zoom, iris, focus, gobo rotation, and prism rotation. Mapping mode provides four assignable pages for both the 8 x 5 matrix and eight motorized faders, making the system adaptable to live productions, venues, touring rigs, stages, and event lighting applications.
